The days are warming up and there are massive fire warnings across much of the east of Australia.
To counter the heat, I am happy to say, our house has air conditioning! Interestingly, the air con is too cold to leave on overnight even though it is evaporative rather than reverse cycle.
Living in Newcastle, evaporative would not have worked as it is so humid, however in the relatively dry environment of Canberra it works fine. I have to admit though that I do still use the ceiling fan in the bedroom during the night, I can't quite do with no air circulation in these temps!
